Chicklet macaron tutorial - Air Dry Clay

In this Tutorial I show you how to make cute chicklet macaron out of air dry clay.

You'll need:
-Fimo Air Light or other similar clay
-acrylic paint (black, white, yellow and orange)
-wood glue
-a round cookie cutter
-cling film
-a blade or something similar
-a rolling pin

Step 1: Take your clay and mix it with some yellow color.

Step 2: Roll out the clay to 0,5mm thickness.

Step 3: Place the cling film tightly over the clay, then take your cookie cutter and cut out two pieces. Through the plastic wrap the corners get slightly rounded.

Step 4: Now grab your blade and gently push a mark around your macaron.

Step 5: Take two toothpicks and make some marks around your Macaron, then make rotating movements to make the edges crumbly.

Your finished Macaron shell should look like this.

Step 6: To make the filling, mix a bit of wood glue with white color. With a toothpick you can apply the filling on your Macaron shell. Don't add too much of the cream, otherwise the filling will run down the corners. Also don't push the two shells too strong together.

Step 7: For the eyes, the beak, the feets, wings and the hair, you mix again a bit of wood glue with acrylic paints. For the eyes you mix the glue with black paint, for the beak and feets you mix the glue with orange paint and for the wings and hair you mix the glue with a bit of yellow and white paint.
Apply the colors with a toothpick.

Let your macaron dry at least for about 24~48 hours (or longer), then you can glaze your chicken and add an screw eye pin, to make a charm out of it.
